January 31, 2020 - Proclamation on Suspension of Entry as Immigrants and Nonimmigrants of Persons who Pose a Risk of Transmitting 2019 Novel Coronavirus

President Trump signed a proclamation suspending entry into the United States of aliens who were physically present in the People’s Republic of China, excluding the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, within the 14 days preceding entry or attempted entry into the United States.  This proclamation took effect on February 2, 2020.
